Introducing our politics keynoter: Al Drago, White House photographer
Al Drago, an award-winning photojournalist whose remarkable coverage of the Trump presidency, President Obama’s final days in office and life in the military have helped tell the stories of our time, will kick off our program this summer as a keynote speaker for our political journalism strand.
Drago is based in Washington, D.C., where he works for The New York Times, Bloomberg News, Reuters and The Associated Press, covering the White House, Congress, and national news and politics.
In his presentation, Drago will describe his work through the pandemic, political protests on racial and social justice issues, and the upcoming presidential campaign.
His keynote will take place on Monday, June 29, at 4 p.m. PT by Zoom webinar. A question-and-answer period for students only will follow. Parents/guardians and families of enrolled students are welcome to attend.
