For accepted students only: Catch the ‘Quakes and stay Saturday with our Early Arrival Program
We know some of our accepted students will be arriving early in the Stanford area prior to our program start on Sunday, July 1.
This year we’re offering an Early Arrival Program for residential students only on Saturday, June 30. It includes Saturday dinner, a ticket to the San Jose Earthquakes vs. Los Angeles Galaxy soccer game and post-game fireworks at Stanford Stadium, overnight housing on campus and Sunday breakfast and lunch.
The friendly rivalry between the San Jose Earthquakes and LA Galaxy is so intense that the annual game has a name — the California Clásico. If you’re thinking of going into sports writing or broadcasting, covering the Clásico is a great way to start.
The cost of our Early Arrival program is $250. We ask families to sign up and pay by May 28.
Interested? Please email us at newsroombythebay@gmail.com and we’ll do the rest.
And if you haven’t applied yet … what are you waiting for? We have a handful of residential spaces left. The deadline to apply and pay is May 28.
Get your game on. Join us at Newsroom by the Bay.
