Think you have what it takes to be an amazing counselor-in-training this summer? Then apply here by Feb. 15, and tell us why you want to be part of the Newsroom by the Bay leadership team.

This opportunity is for returning students only. Applications are competitive. We’ll evaluate and respond to your application no later than March 1.

Those of you who have participated in NBTB know how important leadership is to us, and what a critical role our counselors play. From organizing our afternoon athletics to designing and launching the Year 2 group website to emceeing our closing multimedia showcase, counselors are the rising stars whose talents and energy we keep in mind as we look to future years and future needs for team leaders.

Counselors pay a reduced rate of $1,095 and receive housing and dining at no charge. They also attend the Year 2 sequence of classes along with the Y2 field trips to San Francisco and Silicon Valley.

Successful applicants will be notified by March 1.
