Check-out information for NBTB 2014

A parent today helpfully pointed out to us that there was an error in our FAQs regarding when campers will need to check out on Monday, June 30, when our program ends.

Here’s the revised information below, and it’s also been revised in our complete FAQs for residential students, which you’ll find right here.

Commuters can find their FAQs right here, and for them the check-out process is easier — commuters depart following the multimedia showcase on Sunday evening, including returning their iPads and other equipment, signing our final camp roster, and getting one last hug.

For residential students: When does the program end? When do I check out?

Check out is from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Monday, June 30 and our program ends promptly at 10 a.m. Unfortunately, Stanford rules and our own insurance policy prevent us from supervising or accommodating students on campus after this time. On Monday morning, students will wake up at 7:00 a.m., eat breakfast, work with their team leaders to gather their belongings and clear their rooms, and then start saying their goodbyes (this can take awhile!). By 10 a.m., all students should be picked up by a parent/guardian, or be on their way to their airport of choice.
